“Broome Broom” and Life-Sized Signs Part of E Eric Guirard’s Arsenal

Mayoral candidate E Eric Guirard wants to let the citizens of East Baton Rouge Parish know that current Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome is not getting the job done. Guirard is well-known for being an outside-the-box thinker and advertiser and the local attorney has developed a unique yard sign touting his run for mayor by pointing out the shortcomings of Broome with a simple slogan: “This Broome Don’t Sweep”.

The “sign” is actually a broom with a picture of Broome on it and Guirard is certain the slogan and unique signage will capture the attention of voters while getting his points across.

“Everybody knows that crime, traffic and education are key areas for Baton Rouge,” Guirard said “and Mayor Broome has come up short in developing solutions for all three aspects and all critical areas of leadership.”

“The time to vote for a true independent leader is now and I’m the only one, out of all the candidates, that has a truly aggressive agenda to attack all the areas of need,” Guirard added.

The signs have been in hot demand among his voters and they will be distributed evenly throughout the region, especially in high traffic areas. The broom signs are also featured on a television commercial with Guirard shown in front of various landmarks with a “Broome Broom” while repeating the “This Broome Don’t Sweep” slogan.

Guirard has also caught the attention of voters in recent weeks with his “life-size” signs that feature a full-sized photo of E along with his “Fuse the Rouge” campaign graphics. The 4’ x 8’ signs can be seen along Jefferson Highway, I-10, 1-12 and other major thoroughfares where they can be legally displayed
